Where the Quality Assurance module stands
The Quality Assurance (KS) module is in development and not yet available. It is being built to put your KS handbook in the app: control plans for receiving, process and final control, checklists and deviation records. Until it launches, Lite Report, which is available today, already covers much of the day-to-day quality assurance on site.

Control plan templates covering receiving, process and final control. Developed based on current BR18, DS 1140:2019, relevant execution standards and the project's control plans, and they must be adapted to your project.
Deviation Report
Mark a site deviation on the drawing and attach photo evidence. Everyone on the document is notified automatically. Time deviations are raised when a task slips, by the crew or automatically when a milestone passes.
KS Handbook Report
Your complete quality assurance handbook generated as a professional document. Includes all control plans, completed checklists, deviation records, and inspection history.

Quality assurance and DS 1140 are not the same
DS 1140 is specifically about the control of load-bearing structures. Quality assurance (KS) is broader: it covers the rest of the work, such as finishes, installations, receiving materials and general workmanship, where the requirements usually come from the contract, the client or your own company procedures.
That is why Assurement has two separate modules: DS 1140 for structural documentation, and Quality Assurance for the KS handbook. Both are in development.
What you can do today with Lite Report
Status: in development. There is no launch date or price yet. The price will be announced at launch. Until then, the features below are available in Lite Report.
- Self-inspection and receiving inspection, using the control plans and control points for your profession, adapted to the job with your own company control points added.
- Photo documentation stamped with date, time, GPS position and place name.
- Time deviations when a task slips, raised by the crew with a new completion date, or automatically when a milestone passes without the task being done.
- A finished report with your company logo and stored signatures.
App or advisory?
The Quality Assurance module is for companies that want to structure and document their quality assurance themselves. If you are unsure which controls your project requires, or you want an expert to prepare or check the documentation, our sister company KS Danmark is the advisory business. KS Danmark prepares DS 1140 documentation for contractors (B2 control plan, B3 control report and A5 as built) and acts as independent inspector.
Assurement is the software you use yourselves; KS Danmark is the advice when you want an expert involved.
Frequently asked questions
Is quality assurance the same as DS 1140?
No. DS 1140 covers the control of load-bearing structures. Quality assurance covers the broader control of the work on site, such as finishes, installations and receiving materials.
Is the Quality Assurance module available now?
No. It is in development, with no launch date or price yet. Lite Report is available today.
Can we adapt the control points ourselves?
Yes, in Lite Report today. You choose a profession, which loads its control plans and control points, and you can edit them, add company control points or create your own.
Does Assurement replace our KS handbook or the project's control plan?
No. Lite Report supports your company's documentation, but it does not replace project-specific control plans or other requirements where BR18, DS 1140 or the contract sets particular demands on the control.
Does the app work offline?
Not yet. Today the app needs an internet connection to register tasks and upload photos. Offline mode is on our roadmap.
