Independent Control

The independent control on the construction site is an essential part of quality assurance, which ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable rules, standards and the approved project basis.

The control function typically includes the following tasks:

1. Verification of execution:

• Check that the completed constructions, such as foundations, load-bearing elements and installations, correspond to the drawings and descriptions.

• Ensure that materials and methods meet the requirements of the project's specifications and relevant standards such as DS/EN 1140.

2. Compliance with safety requirements:

• Ensure that safety and stability are in focus, especially with critical constructions such as load-bearing walls, beams and columns.

• Check documentation for the strength and quality of materials, e.g. certificates for concrete or steel.

3. Documentation review:

• Assess whether all necessary documentation such as control plans, inspection reports and quality assurance forms have been filled in correctly and updated.

4. Deviations and measures:

• Identify and report any deviations from the project basis or building permit.

• Make recommendations on necessary adjustments or redoing the work if it does not meet the requirements.

5. Final inspection:

• Carry out a final assessment of the finished constructions to ensure that they meet both technical and safety requirements.

• The purpose of the independent inspection is to give the client and the authorities a guarantee that the construction meets the set requirements and standards.
